Donaldson Torit Mist collectors are designed to control water-soluble and petroleum based mist and coolants generated in wet machining operations. Uncontrolled mist is hazardous to workers health and can create maintenance problems for machine tools and A/C systems. Donaldson Torit offers three types of mist-collection systems, the MC, DMC and WSO (cartridge) collectors.

Dryflo Mist Collectors:
The Dryflo is the first cartridge collector designed specifically for mist. The high-efficiency cartridge actually increases in efficiency as the unit operates, providing consistent filtration without re-entrainment of mist particles.

Machine-Mountable Dryflo
250 - 800 CFM
These compact units mount directly on the machining center without any ductwork, allowing you to easily change plant lay-out. The fan and motor mount directly to the clean air side for quiet operation and reduced maintenance.

The Torit Dryflo Filter Cartridge is made from a proprietary media developed exclusively for collecting mist. This media, combined with a special outer wrap, allows the Dryflo Filter Cartridgefilter to drain and prevents the collected liquid from entering the airstream. In addition, the Dryflo filter cartridge sits vertically inside the collector, allowing gravity to aid the drainage process. The result is more complete reclaim of coolants and machine oil for recycling or disposal, easier maintenance and higher filtration efficiency. For smoke applications, a 3rd Stage HEPA filter is available.

Centrifugal Mist Collectors: 100 - 1,000 CFM
Centrifugal Mist Collectors operate on the principle of centrifugal separation of sub-micron particles. Centrifugal Mist Collectors remove, trap, and reclaim sub-micronic contaminants from the plant atmosphere - right at the source!

Mini-Mist Collectors: 300 - 1,200 CFM
Mini-Mist collectors are designed for CNC machining, grinding, turning, milling, and drilling operations. These units handle mist, smoke, and particulate applications from 300 - 1,200 CFM.

Modular MediaFilter Series Mist Collectors: 1,200 - 6,200 CFM
The Modular MediaFilter Horizontal Series collector is a multi-stage filter available with a variety of medias in a modular design. The Modular MediaFilter unit is excellent for emulsion type coolants and oils on flooded machine tools.
